Jaydan Chung — Consultant
"Coming into CCG, I thought it was going to be all business. What I discovered was that it's so much more. While CCG heavily focuses on its cases, it also puts a big emphasis on community. Each member is extremely driven and talented, united by a common desire to learn, put their skills to use, and help out the businesses we're working for. I'm really grateful to have been part of such an amazing group, and I'm excited to see how much it grows. Special thank you to Russell Wu, Daniel Khoo, and Ben Park for reigniting CCG, while being incredibly welcoming and supportive throughout. Going forward, I have two tips for future members to succeed: 1. Remember that these businesses and organizations came to you for help, so your work has meaning! 2. Everyone has talents that can contribute towards CCG and its community. From analyzing data to coming up with funny skits/ig posts, any skill is useful. Plus, you can always learn from other members to gain new skills as well."
Who We Are
Core Consulting Group (CCG) is a student-run consulting organization and part of a broader network of consulting groups across California community colleges, with major chapters at USC Marshall School of Business and UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
CCG goes beyond a traditional consulting club by providing students with opportunities to gain real-world experience in finance, economics, data analysis, strategy, and business problem-solving through hands-on projects and professional activities.
As a student community, we value initiative, creativity, and teamwork. Built by students for students, CCG fosters an atmosphere where motivated individuals learn by tackling real challenges faced by companies, start-ups, and organizations — seeking for values beyond the classroom.
Founded in January 2026, the team has grown to over twenty ambitious individuals collaborating to make PCC's CCG the platinum standard of professional development and growth in Pasadena City College.

What We Do
Selected members participate in consulting projects with real clients — gaining hands-on experience in research, data analysis, strategy development, and operational problem-solving. Our projects span finance, technology, healthcare, real estate, and nonprofit organizations. Students embark on 8–10 week engagements in teams, developing the necessary skills to navigate professional environments.
